...Weekend Fun...

This weekend was so great and well spent...

I worked Saturday morning until about 230 and headed home to get ready for a bridal shower for my friend Lita Lutui! :) I went with my sister in law and it was a fun time and the shower was very cute! Lita's sisters hosted the whole shower! Lita's getting married this weekend to her eternal companion in the Salt Lake City Temple! So happy for her and can't wait to see her in her dress :)

Since me and Fili work all the dang time, we finally had a day together to spend since Fili had Saturday off and it was my "Friday"! :) We decided to go paintballing! It hurt to get shot by those dam things but it was fun! The couple we played with were fricken cheaters and all me and Fili wanted to do was shoot the crap out of them! haha! Can you say poor sports?? LOL! What can I say...they were that annoying and it was our first time! haha!

Anyways-So we played a couple rounds with that couple and then gave up cuz I was hurting so bad and the stupid guy that we were playing kept shooting me and Fili even though we already said we were out! OMG! but it was a good experience. I don't know if I'd do it again but it WAS fun! :)

Fili got shot in the leg pretty good and I got shot in the arm and other places. All the other spots started hurting the next morning but I'm still alive! :) We ended the night off at Applebees and it was of course delicious! ;)

buuuut, That's aaaaaabout it! ;)

Quick Update...

Hello Out there!! :):)

Just a quick update on the Vakapunas...We're doing FABULOUS and growing strong! :) I started training for United Airlines a couple weeks ago and I'm halfway through and loving it! :) It gets hard when you're sitting around all day but it's all good. Fili got a job too at a company called MTS and loooooves it! I was so excited for him when he started. We are so blessed to have jobs and trying our best to keep up with eachother since our schedules are so different right now. My training is from 6am to 230pm and Fili works at 1pm to 10pm or even later so by the time He or I get home we're sleeping or already gone for work. So we only see eachother on our days OFF which is good but sucky at the same time. We take advantage of the time we have so we're good :)

I went to see our Midwife last week to see how everything was going with my body so we could start trying again sooner or later and everything went well! I was so glad when she told me that everything was good and it made me feel A LOT better about eveything and not having to worry so much. So we'll be trying again sometime :)

Nothing is really "NEW NEW" with us we're just surviving like everyone else out here in the world and we're being HAPPY is all! :) Fili's good friend Andy Lutui got married and my grandpa's brother passed away last weekend so it was a busy weekend for us on top of work. It all worked out though. The wedding was small but cute with a lot of family there. I was really glad I got to see my grandparents last weekend especially since we've found out my grandpa has Colin Cancer it's hit me and I worry about him alot. He's just such a health guy I couldn't believe it when my mom told us. But he's fine and waiting for surgery/treatment to get rid of it all since it's in the early stage.

Our orange seed;)

We are 5 weeks:):) according to our "what to expect" app on my iphone baby is as big as a "orange seed":):) hehe:)

we are so excited and fili is starting to constantly rub my stomach and he's always making sure Im okay or should I say WE'RE okay;) he's so kind and I love him for always taking care of us and cooking to feed me and this little rascal;) The other morning I woke up to him asleep by my stomach!! I wanted to snap a picture but he doesn't like pictures while he's asleep! But i thought is was thee cutest thing:) I smiled and didn'twanna move but I had to get up for work! Boooooo...

So far everything is going good:):) i havent had "bad mood swings" lately and at least not yet...hehe:) but when my little brother cones over i start yelling and getting annoyed of him then i feel bad later but he IS annoying sometimes! Lol! But me and baby love uncle duke:)

yesterday I went and bought the "what to expect while you're expecting" book and I've been stuck on it and can't put it down!! Haha! I read and highlight do much. Yesterday fili came to the living room and I was reading on the couch and he asked if I could go to the room and read so he could each tv! Lmao! :) but I just closed up my book and watched tv with him;)

We got bored and started taking pictures and NO I DON'T wanna post a pic of my flabby tummy! Lmao:) maybe when I'm bigger i will;)

Our NEW beginning :)

So yesterday we found out we were PREGNANT!!! :) It was so exciting to find out! Over the last month (fili says...LOL) I've been cranky and always want to fall asleep out of no where while I'm just chilling watching tv or whatever! Then "Aunt Flo" didn't show up last week so I was just waiting then yesterday Fili and I decided to go in and FIND OUT if we were expecting! :)

So, yesterday I worked and right when I got off of work I headed straight home with smiles and excitement! :) When I got there Fili was all ready and all I had to do was get out of my dam work clothes! We were finally on our way to the hospital to take a test. When we got there we were just so anxious to find out. When we got inside I pee'd in the cup and everything and we just waited. The time me and Fili were sitting in the waiting room we didn't notice how fast time went by because the lady called my name so fast and me and fili jumped up and went to the lady and she said....."YOU'RE TEST WAS.....POSTIVIE! Congratulations!" while flipping the test monitor thing around to show us the proof!! LOL! Me and Fili were so happy and all Fili could do was grab me, hug me so tight and kiss me! :) What can I say he's going to be Dad! hehe :) We are so happy and excited for baby :)

The lady filled out a paper and told us how far a long we were and when our due date was and we are 4 ALMOST 5 weeks in a day or two soooo...5 WEEKS! :) Our *due date* is November 20 or 21 2012 :) It's funny because November is FULL of birthdays including MINE!! :) It's my birthday on the 13th, my sisters Tangi and Nikki is on the 23rd, my nephew Maurices birthday on the 28 i think and my cousin Lina's too all in ONE MONTH! So we'll see how baby feels on when to make it's GRAND ENTRANCE ;)

It makes me sad to think about it but Fili is leaving to Hawaii THIS WEEK sometime to go work with my dad  out there so he'll be gone for a little bit and be back hopefully before our first check up on baby in May! By the way...WE FOUND A MIDWIFE!! :) Yayeeeeeeeeeeee :) It's cool too because the midwife that I contacted is the same midwife my sister, my cousin's wife, my cousin's wife's sisters and my aunt had while they were expecting and she delivered their babies :) So just knowing that we're in GOOD HANDS makes me feel even MORE better! :)

We are so blessed and excited for this journey we are starting! It's going to be a HARD but GREAT 8 months :) but we can't wait to be parents and see our bundle of joy:)

How about now???

Lately some of our families and friends ask when we're going to "POP" little Fili's and Sweetie-Pie's since were married and all?? We just laugh and say we will but we really don't know yet. It's WHENEVER the big  man upstairs gives us one pretty much! ;) We absolutely LOVE kids and want our own (and because I'm tried of playing with Fili??? oh weh! NOT TRUE BABE! LOL!) so we'll see how things go!! :) I'll most definitely let everyone know!! ;) 


So it's been a couple weeks but my sisters kids are just goof balls. I was REALLY sick the week we came back from Vegas and I was just all kind sick and I was dragged at work and tired! I was slowly getting over my sickness and the kids called me one day and our conversation went like this...

Ioana-Sweetie-pie are you sick? are you okay?
Me: HI girl...yeah, I'm okay thank you for asking. what are you doing?
Ioana- hold on...
Fatboi-Sweetie-pie? you okay? are you sick?
Me: Yeah but i'm okay thanks for asking? what are you doing?
Fatboi-Hold on talk to Shawnee...
Shawnee-WILLY PIE?!?!?! (LOL) You sick? you kay?
Me:Hi Shawnee. I'm okay thank you. What are you doing?
Shawnee- Pause. Wille pie you having a BABY?!?!?!?


LMAO!

Those kids I tell you! They ARE TOO MUCH just like they parentals! hehe:) So, everytime we go to their house they  ask me if me and Fili are having a baby yet? We just giggle and tell them "dont worry we'll let you know!" hahaha! :)

We can't wait either guys so "we're working on it"! ;)

Our Sick Valentine's Day...

This Valentine's Day was our 1ST MARRIED Valentine's and we were both SICK!!! hehe:) (AND NOOOOO I'M NOT PREGNANT!!...LOL!) Keep in mind Fili was up and down being sick throughout our Honeymoon/Vegas trip so when we got back from Vegas Monday Night, we went to hang out with my sister and her little family and just went home. We were perfectly fine or at least I thought I WAS! Yikes!

Sure enough...The next morning I got sick and my sickness was what Fili had and still has today!!!! I felt so horrible but then I thought about what day it was which was Valentine's and so I got the strength to get up and make it a "better day"! I was so sick and felt so weak but I got up anyway while Fili laid there sick with his stuffy nose and coughing. I was so sad to see him sick!

I remembered my dad had our truck and was fixing our brakes so I had to wait to even go anywhere if I decided to go anywhere. Around 1130-12 noon my dad came and brought the truck and I took him home and went to Smith's and got some bread, eggs, milk and orange juice!

I was feeling the love that day so I just started making French Toast for Fili then Made a whole loaf so it was for EVERYONE!! :) It was yummy!! :)

Let's just say that our Valentine's wasn't thee best filled with gifts, kisses, hugs, going out to eat, or surprises but we were both sick, in each other arms, sick BUT HAPPY!!! ;) I wouldn't of had it any other way or with anyone else!  :)

We're slowly getting better and with us both back to working I think it's helping us get better...well at least for ME it is! ;)

Viva Las Vegas:)

We are finally driving home from Vegas and we are passing "mona". Vegas was so much fun and filled with a whole bunch of shopping and fun! We did some crazy shopping or should I say FILI did all the crazy shopping!:) Men! Haha! But he got a lot of good looking stuff! What can I say...he learned from THEE BEST!! ;) I taught him well! Hehe:)

We ate so much while we were in Vegas too and I'm pretty sure I gained more than a thousand pounds because we ate nothing but jack in the box and Popeyes chicken! The jack in the box breakfast jacks were killer deal and the Popeyes biscuits I COULDN'T resist!! Lol! Hoooooooi! I'm disgusted with myself!! Hahaha!! Oh well! "I'm married!!"

The first day we got there was Wednesday and we just relaxed and slept most of the time. We stayed at a time share my in laws had and it was absolutely beautiful!! We had a 3 bedroom suite and a penthouse. We stayed in the 3 bedroom suite with fili's brother Liu and our cousin Fui and his wife LeOnNe! It was so much fun to be with them! Our room was so beautiful! We had our own bathroom and our own balcony on a high floor and you could see the pool! The hot tub was great the first night we were there and he pool. Was perfect the day we went with the hot sun outside! It was some good weather!!

Fui played in the 7's tournament they had Wednesday-Friday I think it was with a team called humless! They did so well and was undefeated and took the tournament! :) after the tournament we just went shopping and did more shopping and MORE shopping! Haha!

We went to two concerts too and it was so much fun! The first concert we went to was the Fiji and J Boog concert!! It was so good and we saw Na Drua perform along with special guests! We say a couple NFL players along with Troy Polamalu himself!! We even got to meet and take a picture with him!! Fili and I were sooooooo happy!:):) THAT picture and hand shake for Fili COMPLETED our honeymoon!:) it was great!!

The other concert we went to was the TanYa Stephens concert! I wasn't really diggin' that concert but Fili did a little! But she was good for the time that we were there!! ;)

Liu performed twice while we were there at club azules but the first night he performed I had a really bad stomach ache while we were waiting to go in and I wasn't feeling too well so Fili took me back to the time share and I just slept! I felt bad because i felt like the "party pooper" but Fili wanted to make sure I was okay! Love him!:)

Vegas for us was so perfect and fun and we both enjoyed it!! We can't wait to go back again someday or maybe even next year for the 7's tournament!! Who knows!;) aaaanything could happen;)

Thank you Vegas for the beautiful weather and the best time!! The Vakapuna's WILL be back NO DOUBT!!:)

What do you do???

OMG!!! it's been a FULL WHOLE MONTH since Fili and I have been married and we are living it up to the fullest!! I love being married forreals though! The feeling when I'm so anxious to go home to my husband is so great! Waking up to him in the morning and going to bed a night with him after laughing so much! EVERYTHING ABOUT BEING MARRIED ( i don't  know about Fili buuuut...LOL) right for ME is heaven and I loooooev it!! :)

Over these couple weeks it's been hard because Fili got a call to work about a week ago and had to go in right away. He's schedule sucks so bad. He starts at 4:00pm and works til 230AM!!! So it's hard for me because when I go to work at 6am to 230PM I get home and he has to leave for work and I go to bed ALONE! :( It sucks but I understand how work goes and we need money to survive! But my husband works hard and is always willing to do whatever it takes to make ME and US happy! I'm forever thankful for my husband! I guess that's just how being married goes right?? ;) 

After TODAY we will be off to Vegas for a whole week!!! :) We are so excited because it'll be our very FIRST ROAD TRIP together and we're going to VIVA LAS VEGAS!!! :) We're so excited and ready to get out of Utah!! :) I'll be snapping so much pictures so BE READY for our Vegas post :) So, after these hard times we're having with the sucky shifts Fili's been getting it'll all pay off in Vegas!!! :) If you have any suggestions besides the H&M and other shopping places we should go to....YOU BETTA POST A COMMENT! ;) 

Nothing is going to keep me down today because I'm going to VEGAS ya'll!!! :)

OUR NEW BABY!!!

So ever since the Iphone 4S came out I've been bugging Fili about it and telling him how GREAT it is and how we should both get it. He's not a big fan of touch screens and I wasn't either but after seeing the iphone and playing on my sisters I fell in love them it! haha! 

Fili finally gave in after the wedding and bought one for me with his upgrade at Sprint!! :) I was sooooo HAPPY! I was so happy that I totally ignored him and was tapping away on the phone while he was talking to me! He just kept laughing because I was so stuck on it. But he was happy for me because I was all smiles the rest of the day! 

The other day I left the iphone with him and took his old phone and so he was exploring it while he had it and was full on texting me all fast! I was proud of him! ;) So when I got off he said he MIGHT just get a iphone too!

So, IF he goes through with it he'll be going from THIS.....

to OUR new baby

Changes

Things are slowly coming along with our room even though it's a BIG MESS right now but we're working on it. I went and got the rest of my things from my parents house yesterday after work with Fili and so EVERYTHING is at Fili's now and it all needs to be organized and put away! I'll have to post a picture(s) of our room if Fili let's me..haha! It's horrible! Our gift from our wedding and the bridal shower is all stacked up and our clothes or should I say MY clothes are everywhere! What can I say? I'm a WOMAN! and we all need clothes!!..hehe :)

The other night I was starting to fall in a deep sleep and had that feeling like I was back at home (my parents house), on my bed all alone and all comfy and then I all of sudden opened my eyes quick, turned my head where Fili was laying playing his game, smiled and said to myself..."QUIT TRIPPIN!!! YOU ARE HOME YOU ANNOYING!" haha...:') Some things at Fili's house there's some things that are different from my house. 

• It's not that quiet at Fili's like mine
• There's always people talking and laughing at Fili's where everyone just hangs out in their own rooms at my house
• Everyone is always doing something at Fili and at my house we just sit around, sleep or play games (well duke does at least..my little brother)

I always think about my house and I started to miss being there. I do miss my brothers Joey and Duck, my dad and my mom but it feels good to be out of the house and in Fili's arms each night and waking up next to him. Since I've moved in with Fili he's always asking me..."Babe.. are you okay?" "Do you need anything?" "Are you hungry?" "Are you sure?" hehe...I think it's so cute of him that he "21 questions" me to make sure I'm okay and I love that about him.I feel kind of bad because all I do is lay around when I get home from work but he understands and just lays right next to me and makes me laugh throughout the night! He's such a goof and he always knows what to say and do to cheer me up after a long day of work! 

It's time to get use to things changing. We're looking forward to new things in 

OUR SWEETEST MARRIED LIFE ;)
